SUBSTANCE: used for the purpose are aqueous acid solutions for treatment of metal surfaces, for instance, aluminum, zinc-plated steel. Solution is used in the form of aqueous acid nonchrome passivation solution containing compound or mixture of compounds selected from organophosphates in the form of phosphoric epoxy ester and organophosphonates in the form of phosphonic epoxy esters and fluoride or chloride ion.
