<p>The device applies to circular knitting machines comprising a rotating needle cylinder and a stationary stocking discharge tube. A rotatable tube is coaxial to the discharge tube, and devices drive the rotatable tube at least at the same speed as the needle cylinder. A set of fingers on the rotatable tube rotate about pivot points so that they can be brought into their supporting position. If it, they protrude radially into the rotatable tube, thus blocking the passage, or are brought into a position, in which free passage is given to the stocking.</p> |
