PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a biaxially oriented polyamide film having excellent transparence, pinhole resistance, dimensional stability and production efficiency. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing biaxially oriented polyamide film comprises the steps of water absorbing an unoriented film manufactured by using resin composition containing 90 to 99.9wt.% of polyamide (A) and 10 to 0.1wt.% of ethylene copolymer (B) containing 95 to 60wt.% of ethylene, 0.1 to 10wt.% of maleic anhydride and 4.9 to 30wt.% of n-butylacrylate as raw material so that moisture content becomes 3.0 to 7.0wt.%, and then longitudinally and laterally simultaneously biaxially orienting it. The polyamide is thermoplastic polymer compound having an amide bond (-CONH-) in its molecule, and contains poly-ε-capramide (nylon 6), polyhexamethyleneadipamide (nylon 66), and their copolymer. |
