The present invention refers to a telecommunication network wherein a call is directed from the first switchboard to a second switchboard, and from the second switchboard back to the first switchboard. A signal process can be applied to the call between the first and second switchboards. The call can be received in the first switchboard in the first type of link and directed back to the first switchboard in a second type of ling that has different characteristics of signalization than the first type of link. The second switchboard can select from a plurality of remote switchboards according to a non used capacity of the links between the first switchboard and each one of the remote switchboards.
