PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the automatic backup schedule system which can securely back up an important file and performs the backup process with efficiency. SOLUTION: A computer system having an auxiliary storage device 3 which stores file data and a backup device 9 which backs up the file data in the auxiliary storage device is equipped with an update information management table 1 which contains update frequencies and update block rates in each update time by files on the auxiliary storage device, a file update information monitor means 2 which monitors the update of files on the auxiliary storage device, and calculates the update frequency and update rate block rate of a file and registers them in the table 1 each time the file is updated, and a saving schedule generating means 3 which generates a schedule for backing up the files in the backup device according to the update frequency and update block rate of the file registered in the table 1. |
