The shaft (1) is mounted in a housing (12) in which a sealing arrangement is mounted. The sealing arrangement consists of a first part (2) which is pressed radially against the shaft by a spring (5) to obtain sealing action. A second part of the seal (7) is surrounded by a tensioner (10) which is made from a material with "form memory", so that the tensioner will press the seal, with its rims (8), against the shaft when a certain predetermined temperature has been reached.
