PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cook a small quantity of rice without taking a time by providing the cooker with a main body container which consists of pottery or porcelain and is provided with an opening port for putting-in rice on an upper surface, a middle cover for closing the opening port and an outer cover which is covered in the upper part of the middle cover. SOLUTION: For example, 0.18 liter rice 4 is put into the main body container 1 from the opening port O. Then, water W is put into the main body container 1, rice is washed and, after that, the quantity of water W is set to the level of a line groove 12. Then, the opening port O of the main body container 1 is covered by the middle cover 2 and, moreover, covered by the outer cover 3 from the upper part. A rice cooker in this state is placed inside a microwave oven 5, the time is adjusted to be about 10-12 minutes and a switch is turned on. Then, desired boiled rice is cooked by inductive heating by microwave with a magnetron as an originating source. |
