PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To vary an orbit without using a propellant by applying an electric current to eliminate a moment generated individually on each of electromagnets and to generate translational force to each of a first electromagnet having specified length, a second electromagnet having relatively smaller length and each of electromagnets. SOLUTION: A moment M is generated on around a center of gravity P of an electromagnet 1 by synergetic of a magnetic field which the electromagnet 1 generates and a line of magnetic force 4 of a planet 7 by loading the first electromagnet 1 long in length and a second electromagnet 2 relatively small in length on an artificial satellite 6 orbiting the specified planet 7 and by supplying a specified electric current to the first electromagnet 1. Additionally, as regards the second electromagnet 2, a moment -M to eliminate the moment M which the first electromagnet 1 generates is generated around a center of gravity P' of the electromagnet 2, and both of the moments are reciprocally eliminated. Thereafter, a difference of force in size different from each other generated on both end pole parts of the electromagnet 1 is generated as translational force. |
