PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a shortage of strength, and corrosion and weathering of wooden materials if such materials are used. SOLUTION: The pole 10 is composed of the pole's body 13 formed of an aluminum alloy extruded section having a fitting groove 12 opening toward the external side on the facing two sides of a hollow base 11 and a wooden pole cover 14 fitted into the fitting groove 12 of the pole's body 13. The structure can protect the pole cover from impulsive forces, restrain corrosion and weathering, and provide a modern-style pole or fence.
