The energy collector on the roof is a hybrid type which has photovoltaic cells and a pumped low temperature water or air circuit. The low temperature circuit is coupled to a secondary heat pump circuit via a buffer heat exchanger. A tertiary heat pump system and heat exchanger then supplies hot tap water at up to 65 [deg]C. It also supplies heated water or air at 38 [deg]C. to an underfloor heating system.
