An air conditioning system for self-contained transporting units, especially for aircraft, railway wagons, etc., increasing the security of passenger traffic and/or freight carriage, which essence consists in equipping the partial output system in all conditioned air output points out from the self-contained transporting unit into free space with an automatic sensing element detecting the presence of explosives. The signalling of output information from separate sensing elements is located in the control cabin of the transporting unit or means of transport.
