PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reroute searching method in a navigation device, by which good result can be obtained in the searching of reroute. SOLUTION: This method has a reroute searching function for performing the recalculation of a route when a car is removed from a guide route, so that the car is returned to the guide route where the car has not passed, in a navigation device which recognizes a current position of the car, and guiding the car to a target position through the optimum route. On this occasion, a next stopping point or a destination is set as a searching termination point (S3), the searching from a searching starting point to the searching termination point is performed (S5), the searching is finished when an unpassed guide route is found during the searching calculation, and the searching operation is finished after the searching to the searching termination point has been performed, when the unpassed guide route can not be found during the searching calculating. |
