PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide general purpose wheel cover which can be mounted on a wheel of the same specification, irrespective of its type. SOLUTION: A plurality of grips which elastically grip the rim flange part 3 of a wheel mounted on the outer peripheral rim of the reverse surface of a cover body 10 are joined to this wheel cover at prescribed intervals. Each grip has a through hole made in the axial direction of the wheel and an elastic locking member engaging in the through hole is provided on the reverse surface of the cover body to which each grip is joined. The elastic locking member is elastically deformed and is passed through the through hole in the state where its maximum width becomes smaller than the through hole and is elastically restored to the original shape after it is passed through the through hole to thereby join each grip to the reverse surface of the cover body. |
