Control device for a thermostatic valve

The controller is used for a valve (14) which has a thermostatic head with a main ring (20) fixed to the body of the valve. The support (22) for a temperature transducer (24) slides relative to the ring and the transducer. A control knob (30) is mounted so it pivots around an axis of rotation (34) that is perpendicular to the main ring. A mechanism is provided to transform the rotary movement of the knob to a linear movement that is transmitted to the transducer support. The control knob is mounted on a plate with a non-circular groove on its face into which a finger attached to the transducer support runs.
