Skid-mounted sludge decantation tank at the end of waste water treatment plant

A sludge decantation unit is used at the end of a treatment system on a waste water treatment plant. It comprises a tank (1) with a top manhole (2), a single line (3) from the digester and/or sedimentation tank and a line with three branches (4). At the base of the tank there is a valve (9) and a skid stabilising and supporting it. Each of the three branches preferably includes a valve. The skids allow the tank to be moved over a short distance, when required.
