PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively use power battery, to more quickly perform position registration processing at the time of coming into the inside from the outside of the corresponding area of a base station of a portable telephone terminal as necessary, and to quickly start speech communication. SOLUTION: This device is provided with an antenna 24 and a paging receiving part 22 which receive the telephone number of other terminals which make a paging call and make a call to the terminal, a controlling part 17 that decides whether or not it is possible to connect a PHS base station by using a communication processing part 13, a transmitting and receiving part 12 and an antenna 11 in receiving a calling signal in the part 22 and sets the cycle that retrieves the base station shorter when it is impossible, and a speaker 15 and a display part 21 which perform notification when the connection to the base station is available and displays the telephone number of the other terminals. |
