PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the photosensitive printing plate prevented from deterioration of printing resistance and overdevelopment aptitude and subjected to matting treatment superior in the close vacuum contact performance of an original image film. SOLUTION: The substrate of this photosensitive printing plate is matted by coating the support with a coating liquid obtained by dispersing fine particles into a photosensitive solution and driving it, and it is characterized by regulating the relationship between the density of the fine particles dS and that of the developing solution dL, and the relationships between the polar and nonpolar components of the surface tension of the fine particlesγS1 andγS1 <d> , and the polar and nonpolar components of the surface tension of the developing solutionγL1 andγL1 <d> as follows: dS/dL=0.5-1.5, andγS1 >=γL1 , andγS1 <d> >=γL1 <d> . |
