PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium-ion secondary battery which can reduce retention rate and increase its capacity per unit weight, even if an amorphous carbonaceous material is used as the main constituent of its negative electrode material. SOLUTION: An amorphous carbonaceous material is doped with 0.01 to 0.04 mole of lithium per one mole of the amorphous carbonaceous material. A mixture of powders of the amorphous carbonaceous material and a binder is put in and wet mixed with a solvent. Next, after this mixture is applied to a negative current collector and dried, the solvent is removed to fabricate a negative plate 4. The negative plate 4 and a positive plate 3, using a lithium- containing complex oxide as the positive active material, are stacked via an electrolyte layer 5 containing a nonaqueous electrolyte. |
