The scissors are fitted with mass-produced plastics eyelets kept in store in optional quantities and mounted on the handles. The blade parts (2, 3) have hook-shaped open handle parts consisting of short legs (12, 12') and longer legs (18, 18'). The suitably shaped plastics eyelets (6, 7) have grooves on part of their circumference which in shape coincide with the open contours of the open ended handle. The stem parts (3, 4) have holes (16) into which warts (14, 15) on the innr surfaces of the plastics eyelet grooes clip in. On the outer surfaces of the eyelets where the two handles meet, are stop lugs (11, 11') on the edges.
