The invention relates to lifting equipment, in particular, to designs of an elevator overspeed governor. The invention is aimed at improvement of reliability, accuracy of triggering and reduction of labor content in manufacturing process. The elevator overspeed governor comprises a base 1, a bracket 2 with a switch 3 is mounted thereon, the bracket can move along adjusting grooves 4. An axle 6 and a brake are fixed to the base. A pulley 11 with passes for ropes is mounted on the axle, wherein the pulley comprises eccentric cams 13 arranged diametrically on axles 12, weights 15 are fixed to cams by two axles 14. In the restricted position the weights are retained by return springs 19. A holder 20 connects in pairs outer support surfaces of springs 19. The outer surface of each weight 15 is provided with projections 22 to cooperate with a flag 23. The weights 15 have a round hole 24, an oblong hole 25 and a rectangular window 26 for mounting spring 19 and holder 20. The window 20 is shifted relative to the weight center of gravity towards the round hole 24. The longitudinal axis of the rectangular window is perpendicular to the axis passing through the round hole 24 and rotation axis of the eccentric cam 13. |
