The first bow (2) of the bracket (1) is nailed through the sub-roof formed from insulating plates laid below the tiles to be secured, and so on into the sub-mounted roof battens. A second bow (3) integrated with the first (2) is placed on top of the sub-roof and is hooked at its end. This hooked part grasps the tile from above so the hook comes in the centre of the fastened tile. A second bracket (21) includes a third integrated bow part (22) and a fourth bow (23) which is also integrated with the bow (22) and arranged so as to grasp the second bow (3) of the first bracket (1) from above. The bracket bows are holed for the securing nails and hooked to grasp over one another when installed, using wire or bent sheet material for the brackets, bent round into hooks at their free end.
