A superconducting magnetic device which corrects a stationary magnetic field in a measuring space by adjusting the flow of magnetic flux, in such a manner as to form one or a plurality of holes through a tabular ferromagnetic body constituting a magnetic shield for converging magnetic fluxes generated from superconductive coils. In the device, a connecting tube which supports two cooling containers for housing the superconducting coils is arranged on the rear side of the vertical center axis (Z axis) of the measuring space so that the coils can easily reach a patient. Further, the magnetic shield has an opening which is wider than a size of the superconductive magnet on its side face so that the superconductive magnet can be installed into the device through the opening after the magnetic shield is assembled.
|
