PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing method and an image processing system not requiring transfer of the overlapped areas between DSPs. SOLUTION: An image processing system 10 comprises a plurality of memories 12 to which image data 18 are inputted, a control circuit 14 which selects an area to be subjected to image processing from the image data 18 inputted to the memories 12, and a plurality of DSPs 16 which are connected to the memories 12 and perform image processing of the image data selected by the control circuit 14.
