The system has an attachment device (40) which can be fitted to the nozzle end section (21) of the oil spraying device (20), a light emitting element (50) in the forward centre of one nozzle end of the attachment device, a light projector (60) directly in front of the light emitting element and a light receiving element (70) which can be mounted in the oil hole of a piston. The light emitting element emits light when a voltage is applied. The light projector collects the emitted light and propagates it centrally. The light-receiving element operates a display device (71) on receiving the emitted light.
