Brewing vessel for mfg. beer in the home comprising container with electric heater

Domestic or hobby brewing of beer is carried out in a brewing vessel comprising a container (1) which can be placed on an electrical heater (3) with temp. and time controller (5,6). The container has an outlet with valve (12) towards its base. A lid including a stirrer can be fitted on the upper edge (8) of the container; alternatively a pressure cover (13) with sealing and fastening elements, together with valves and pressure gauge, can be put in place. Pref. fastening elements are screw clamps (14) which force the lid and seal (15) against the container edge. Valves consist of a ball cock (17) and a pressure-relief valve (18) and a pressure gauge (19) is fastened to a connection piece. Simple in construction and low in cost to the hobbyist.
