<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking device for a specially equipped vehicle which securely performs locking management and locks the vehicle reliably even under operation. SOLUTION: Reader 1 of a specially equipped vehicle usually sends RF power signals at specified time intervals. When a worker using the specially equipped vehicle approaches its door, a transponder 18 of the lock which is carried by the worker receives the RF signals to operate and sends ID data in a EEPROM, which are system identifying ID data, master-key-group ID data and lock-ID data. The reader 1 receives the ID data and compares them with ID data preset in the EEPROM, and when all of them match, drives a relay 14 to open an electric lock 20. When the worker leaves from the specially equipped vehicle, the transponder 18 can not receive the RF power signals and does not send ID data. Then, the reader obtains non-response from the transponder 18 and locks the electric lock 20 automatically.</p> |
