PURPOSE:To improve the cutting quantity of the subject cutter and to use it covering a long period by forming an internal member of a surgical operation cutter for resecting an object to be sucked, which is sucked to an opening part, by a shape memory alloy, and constituting it so as to adhere closely to the inside surface of an external member at a room temperature. CONSTITUTION:An internal cylinder 13 is made, for instance, of a shape memory alloy of Ni-Ti, Ni-Ti-Cu, etc., and has a slot 42 in the axial direction. A transformation temperature of the internal cylinder 13 is a room temperature, and a temperature at the time of a surgical operation in an ophthalmic surgical operation room. After the internal cylinder 13 is inserted into an external cylinder 12 at a low temperature, the internal cylinder 13 is restored to a stored shape and enlarged at a transformation temperature, and the outside surface of the internal cylinder 13 is fitted closely to the inside surface of the external cylinder 12. At the time of resecting an object 4 to be sucked in an eyeball, the object 4 to be sucked is sucked into an opening part 18 by a suction device 21. The internal cylinder 13 is brought to reciprocating motion in the direction as indicated with an arrow by a driving device, and the object 4 to be sucked in the opening part 18 is resected. Accordingly, the internal member can be inserted easily into the external member, and at the time of using a cutter, the adhesion of both the members is improved and the cutting quality thereof becomes satisfactory. |
