PURPOSE:To aim at stabilizing the merging and mixing between carbonated water which is obtained by mixing liquefied carbon dioxide with water and water glass which reacts with the carbonated water, and at making a ground improving device compact by merging the carbonated water with and making the same contact with the water glass while they being injected into the ground. CONSTITUTION:A refrigerator 2 serving as a liquefied condition holding means, a pressure holding valve 4 and a pump 3 are arranged in a supply passage CO2 led from a liquefied carbon dioxide source 1. Then, water is fed from a water tank 6 so as to be merged with and is made into contact with liquefied carbon dioxide so as to obtain carbonated water CW at a first merging point 5. Further, water glass NS is led by a pump 10 from a tank 9 so as to be merged with and made into contact with the carbonated water at a second merging point 8 so as to obtain a grout G which is then injected into the ground through an injection pipe 11 having therein a pressure holding valve 12. With this arrangement, the merging and mixing between the liquids may be stabilized, and the ground improving device may be made to be compact. |
