PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image scaling factor changing method which can optionally change an image scaling factor, also enables a real time operation and reduces the time to change a scaling factor. SOLUTION: This method carries out processes 2a to 2c where it sets a vertical scaling factor rr to a line selection variable R that decides line selection and fetches one line, processes 2d to 2f where it sets a horizontal scaling factor rc to a pixel selection variable C that decides pixel selection if the current line R>=a standard scaling factor 1 and fetches one pixel, processes 2g to 2h where it sends the pixel to an output part if the current pixel C>= the standard scaling factor 1, processes 2i to 2j where it operates a prescribed calculation of C, also fetches the next pixel x+1 and executes 2g when C is after 2h or when C<1, and processes 2k to 21 where it fetches the next line y+1, also operates a prescribed calculation of R and performs 2d when the selection up to the last pixel x=W of one line is finished or when R<1 through the processes 2i to 2j. |
