PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage device which uses a card type storage medium, which can be inexpensively produced, and has a simple constitution and is easily made small-sized. SOLUTION: An access control part 21 controls a data control part 24 and a card driving part 3 in accordance with access control information given from an interface 1. A data distribution part 22 divides data given from the interface 1 in accordance with a distribution format and supplies it to heads 41 to 4n of a magnetic head group 4. A data integrating part 23 synthesizes data outputted from heads 41 to 4n in accordance with an integrating format and transfers the result to the interface 1. The data control part 24 manages the distribution format and the integrating format of data. The timing of data supply from the data distribution part 22 to the magnetic head group 4 and that of taking out data from the magnetic head group 4 by the data integrating part 23 are synchronized with the operation of the card type storage medium. |
