摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display on which strength and adhesion are improved and which is excellent in uniformity and on which nonuniformity of luminance is reduced by using a partition wall having a specific shape. SOLUTION: It is desirable that a partition wall for a plasma display is set in a range of (Lt/Lh=0.65 to 1, and Lb/Lh=1 to 2) when an under surface width is denoted by Lb and a half value width is denoted by Lh and an upper surface width is denoted by Lt. When (Lt/Lh) is larger than 1, the opening size becomes small, and luminance is reduced, and nonuniformity of application is caused. When (Lb/Lh) is less than 1, strength is reduced, and the partition wall falls down, and when it is larger than 2, a discharge space is reduced, and the luminance is reduced. As a partition wall construction material, it is desirable to be composed of a galss material on which a glass transision point is 430 to 500 deg.C and a softening point is 470 to 580 deg.C and a thermal expansion coefficient is 50 to 90×10<-7> /K. When the partition wall having such a specific shape is used, the plasma display on which strength and adhesion are improved and which is excellent in uniformity of application and on which nonuniformity of luminance is reduced, can be obtained.
