Electrical energy source with optical energy supply e.g. for data transmission

An electrical energy source with optical supply of energy has an electro-optical converter connected to the supply network working with the light of a photodiode-converter circuit. The electro-optic converter is provided with a clocked interruption for the light. Modulation of the clocked interruption for data transmission and data output of the phot-converter- circuit are provided for. A diode-capacitor-rectifier (12,13) circuit is wired in parallel to a parallel-circuit of photodiode (10) and a choke (11). The data output (17) is formed at the common connection of the photodiode, choke and diode. The latter is a Schottky diode. The choke has a ferrite core.
