The television signal transmission system allows television signals received from an antenna and/or a cable network to be fed to several television receivers (4a). The television receivers can also be supplied with signals provided by a video player (5). Each television receiver has a modem (7a) coupled to a central control (9) for controlling the television signals fed to the receivers. There is a head station (1) having several reception modules (1c,1d,1e) for the television signals obtained from the antenna or cable network, assigned to the respective television receivers.
