SUBSTANCE: invention relates to new high polymer compound - water-soluble poly-N,N,N,N-trimethylmethacryloyloxyethylammonium benzene sulfonate of the formula: $$$ showing intrinsic viscosity from 3,5 to 9,0 dl/l that corresponds to molecular mass (3-20) x 10<M^ >6<D> Da. Polymer is synthesized as dry, easily water-soluble product of improved technology and safety of process. Invention can be used for effective treatment of sewage, water preparing, in paper manufacture and as a thickening agent, conditioner and antistatic. EFFECT: improved method of synthesis, improved properties.
