An apparatus for controlling a user controller of a monitor is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a polygonal rod(20b) having a steel core(20f), an establishing groove(20d), a turning member(20), a power button(10), a setting groove(30) for setting the turning member(20), a control turning member(30), a case(40), a PCB(60), a fixing screw(70), an elastic member(80), and a chassis(90). Since a number of volume nodes and buttons are replaced by only one turning member(20), the mold manufacturing of the monitor can be simplified.
