Production of matrix comprising slabs, tiles or mosaic elements for e.g. cladding or flooring, indoors or out

In a new method, slab- or tile-like sections are joined together, forming a mat. In this new assembly, the elements are laid out as a pattern on a resting surface From this pattern a negative mould is made. This has intersecting partitions forming the matrix of cavities. In the partition walls of the matrix, holes are made for interconnecting strands. The cavities are filled with setting material, the strands being fully-enclosed by it. Also claimed are the equipment to make the slab matrix; and the matrix made with it.
