A cover for a drainage inspection chamber comprises a hollow container (1) having one or more sides and a bottom, wherein the upper edge of the container is provided with an outwardly-projecting circumferential rim having a plurality of flanges (6) which project downwardly outside the container. In use, the cover is supportable on the frame (10) of the inspection chamber with the upper edge being substantially level with the surrounding ground (9). The cover is provided with lifting mans (5) and suitably contains a plant-growth medium. Preferably, one or more flanges rest in complementary grooves in the frame of the inspection chamber. |
