PURPOSE:To execute the setting of an identification code in a cordless telephone system, especially down-loading of the identification code to the cordless telephone set with a very simple procedure without giving adverse effect on general communication via a radio channel with respect to the identification code down- load system in the cordless telephone system having the cordless telephone set and a connector. CONSTITUTION:A connector 2 is provided with an identification code transmission means 100 transferring an identification code given to a cordless telephone system to a cordless telephone set 3 while transmission power of a radio channel 13 is reduced (to a reduction degree that other cordless telephone sets than a down-load object telephone set are not receptible) more than that of general communication, and the cordless telephone set 3 is provided with an identification code reception means 200 down-loading the identification code transferred through the radio channel 13 in the transmission power reduced more than that in general communication from the connector 2. |
