<p>The present invention concerns a method of replenishing an ascorbic acid developer used for developing silver halide photographic products. The method of the invention comprises the treatment of the developer by means of a resin having a greater selectivity for bromide ions than for carbonate ions and the replenishing of this developer by means of a solution, the concentration of the main components of which is predetermined in accordance with the quantity of developed silver.
