PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the image processor in which image quality is not deteriorated even with interleave processing. SOLUTION: Interleave processing is conducted for data while data of one picture element are multi-value data before the data are binarized. Concretely the data are processed in three steps ; OR processing of multi-value data in the 1st stage, gradation processing not deteriorating the image quality after binarization in the 2nd stage, and interleave processing in the 3rd stage. In the error spread processing, errors after binarization processing are being stored, and the operation of extracting the errors and storing them in the memory is stopped at an invalid line. Only data of valid lines are extracted and in use by informing valid lines to an object reception section (FAX control section) in the actual interleaving in the 3rd stage. |
