PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject material easily disposable as a waste by using a composition composed of an unsaturated polyester, an addition-polymerizable monomer and a specific aliphatic polyester as a binder. SOLUTION: This mold material contains a binder consisting of a thermosetting composition composed of (A) an unsaturated polyester (preferably a copolymer of isophthalic acid, fumaric acid and neopentyl glycol, etc.), (B) an addition polymerizable monomer (preferably selected from styrene, 2hydroxyethyl acrylate and 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate) and (C) an aliphatic polyester selected from polydipropylene succinate, polyethylene malonate, polypropylene malonate, polydipropylene malonate, polyethylene pimelate, polypropylene pimelate and polydipropylene pimelate. The objective material is easily decomposable with a decomposition liquid composed of a base and a solvolytic solvent. |
