The invention is a parking brake lever for automobiles providing convenience in pushing the button and less effort to pull the lever by improving the grip thereof. The device comprises a lever(1) having a grip(11) with a cover over the L shaped bent end portion of the lever; a button(5) having a spring in the lever(1) near the grip(11); a ratchet pawl(6) connected with a wire operated by a push button(5); a casing pipe(4) encasing the wire and having an upper portion(41) and lower portion(43); and a wire(3) connecting the button at one end and the ratchet pawl at the other end. The button is easy to push with little effort.
