PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily connect a plate imaging device and a plate cylinder support mechanism by forming a precise distance between a writing head and the surface of a lithograph plate irrespective of whether a diameter of the plate cylinder is determined or not beforehand. SOLUTION: A fastening tool, a housing 48, and a writing head define subassembly shiftable in the direction toward and apart from a cylinder 25. In the event of a unit being in contact with a cassette assembly, the writing head is shifted by movement of the subassembly toward the surface of the cylinder head 25 or remote away of the surface thereof. Since the thickness of a plate to be supported on the cylinder 25 is known, the distance between the writing head and the cam follower is formed such that an appropriate distance is ensured between the imaging device and the expected position on the plate surface through the contact between the cam follower and the support surface. |
