PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for separating carbon dioxide gas by which it is possible to separate and recover carbon dioxide gas contained in exhaust gas from an energy plant or a chemical plant at a low energy consumption rate and high efficiency. SOLUTION: This method for separating carbon dioxide gas consists of a first step to divide an industrial exhaust gas into a first gas 6 containing carbon dioxide gas CO2 with a relatively high partial pressure and a second gas 7 containing the carbon dioxide with a relatively low partial pressure in an area containing a composite oxide, a second step to heat the composite oxide in the area at 500 deg.C or more and generate molten carbonate by causing the carbon dioxide gas CO2 contained in the first gas 6 to chemically react with the composite oxide at a part in which the first gas 6 comes into contact with the area, and a third step to generate the carbon dioxide gas CO2 by decomposing a molten carbonate in the area, at a part in which the second gas 7 comes into contact with the area, and bleed the carbon dioxide gas to the second gas 7 from the area and at the same time, again generate the composite oxide in the area. Both second and third steps are repeated a plural number of times. |
