Method of making crimp contacts to coaxial plug connectors of electronic equipment

The method provides crimp contacts to coaxial plug connector elements esp. to contact pins and contact sleeves. The crimp contact is made in the crimp region of the connection element as a four edged surface press with a quadratic shape. The press may have parallel press pincers with an adjustable adaptor (5) to receive and guide the connector element. A guide formed of a guide slit (4) and a guide lug (3) may be arranged at the end of the jaws. The adaptor (5) may be fastened to the jaws and may be aligned in the desired stop and adjustment position.
