E.coli strains, selected from different well-known strainshaving the ability to express a specific type antigens of thecolonizing factor are cultivated in liquid cultural medium.Microorganisms of a specific E. coli strain killed by formalin,having preserved antigene and hemagglutination capabilities of thegiven type of antigenes of the colonizing factor are mixed withsuitable excipients or dilutants. By the method, vaccine includinginactivated E. coli strains are introduced in man for protectionfrom enteritic infections.
