PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a multicolor image forming device having a multiimage batch transfer system, capable of maximumly obtaining all superimposing ratio images, without decreasing transfer efficiency, for instance. SOLUTION: The number of images in each color of red and black in a two-color image is integrated with a video signal and an image ratio, an image superimposing ratio, etc., are operated with the number of the images in each color, by a control circuit. A control function for showing the relation between a superimposing ratio and a transfer current, that is, peak transfer current values (a), (b) and (c) as highest transfer efficiency in red and black single colors and two colors are plotted with respect to a superimposing ratio of 0-100%. In two characteristic curves D and E in the red and black colors, that link the peak transfer current values (a) and (b), and (c), transfer current values (a') and (b') at the operated superimposing ratio (e%) are obtained and a transfer current value (c') obtained in such a manner that the obtained values (a') and (b') are proportionally distributed by the image ratioα/βof red/black toner images is set as an optimum transfer current value with respect to the batch transfer of two color images.
