SYNCHRONIZATION OF POWER CONVERTER ARRAY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an integrated assembly including impedance devices by a method in which at least, four power converters are provided and synchronizing media which are connected to the synchronizing ports of the converters define paths between the synchronizing ports and one synchronizing medium is connected to all the other media through at least one path. SOLUTION: The input ports 36a-36d of respective converters 100a-100d are connected to the respective input ports 36a-36d of the other converters 100a-100d through the capacitors 510a-510f of synchronizing paths 250. With this constitution, two impedance elements include capacitance elements which are connected in series to each other between a pair of the ports. Each synchronizing medium includes one capacitor for each converter of an array and them terminals of the respective capacitors are used as connection conductors which are connected to the other synchronizing ports in the array.
