Bag which is made from extruded plastic mesh and which is formed by a tubular body. The latter defines two superposed sheets and comprises an opening, a bottom determined by a weld line, and a strip which extends longitudinally over one of the sheets, from the bottom to at least the opening and which is joined to the sheet of the bag by means of the weld line which determines the bottom of the bag. Longitudinal welds which extend along the longitudinal edges of the strip contribute to the join between the strip and the first sheet. <IMAGE>
