The converter has a housing, at least one coil (5), a non-movable (1) and a movable part of a magnetic iron circuit, of which the non-movable part holds the coil and the movable part forms a magnetic return device (3) with the shape of an essentially flat plate. A spring element (7) acts on the return device against the closing direction. It has a fluid feed and output, at least one of which can be closed by the magnetic return device, which is mounted so as to float with play perpendicular to the closure direction and which is parallel to the plane of the pole surfaces (15) of the non-movable part with the magnetic circuit open or closed.
